Wedding venues are pricey, that is a fact. The wedding venue that you book for the ceremony and reception might possibly be the most significant expense of your whole celebration. If you are thinking of saving some money without having to make too many sacrifices, then we have some excellent advice for you.
Here are a few tips that will help you save some money on your wedding venue: Find a wedding package that works The best way to save money is to look for a wedding venue that offers a package deal. Though it might seem a bit more expensive at the start but not having to work out catering, desserts, decor, flowers, and more separately can actually help you save in your wedding budget. Moreover, it will also help you avoid the stress involved in finding all the suppliers by yourself. Stay in one place While having a ceremony in a church is the most traditional option, a more significant number of couples are now hosting their wedding celebrations at alternative wedding venues. If you are OK with saying your wedding vows in a much more modern setting like the event venues in Healdsburg than you should look for a place that is licensed to conduct ceremonies and can host your reception as well. Having a venue that can do both means you won’t have to make two separate bookings or hire transportation to shuttle between the two locations. Select your wedding date carefully Spring is the most expensive season to get married in, so if you’re thinking of saving some money on your wedding venue, it is best to consider looking for a date outside of June to September. While a romantic outdoor wedding may not be much of an option for the colder months, there are plenty of ways to make early spring weddings, late autumn weddings and winter weddings in Marin County wedding venues just as memorable. Timing is everything Wedding ceremonies usually begin in the late noon and receptions run late into the night. So if you are looking to save money on the wedding venues, altering this schedule is a good idea. Hosting a morning wedding and afternoon reception could shave-off some cash of the rental fees of the venue as it might be less in-demand during these hours. Moreover, you can always keep the party going late into the night with a trip to a nearby location like a pub, etc. Think small Fewer people means less wedding favors, fewer people to feed and less space to decorate, so it will definitely have an effect on your wedding budget.

You made a good point that knowing the time and duration of a ceremony is important to consider when looking for a wedding venue. A friend of mine is thinking that it would be best to have to same venue for the ceremony and the reception for her wedding. As such, a banquet hall might be a good choice.

I would never have thought that a wedding venue's proximity could make it more efficient for your guests! It also makes sense to invest in a place that can accommodate your reception plans. I should keep this in mind if I end up getting married in the future.
